We're INTERNATIONALLY COVER PUBLISHED!

Hey y'all, Pin Up Penny here writing after a few months of not blogging! If you know me, you know that I'm a story teller with images and so much words, but this one I'm STOKED about!

Last spring, we offered Grimm's Fairy Tale themed Creative Photo Shoots and had so much fun creating the unique sets, wardrobe, and stories! One of our new-to-us clients who's an up-and-coming model and actress, Malia Mann, booked a Grimm's Experience with us. As soon as I learned she's always wanted to do a Mermaid photo shoot I knew exactly what we had to do! We turned our forest Grimm's set into an underwater scene and then modified our hot tub into an "ocean tide pool!"

This Photo Experience was super thrilling for our team, and we knew we had to show these special images off to the world. I submitted to Femme Rebelle Magazine, and one of my images was selected for the July issue of their "Allure" series! Femme Rebelle is an alt fashion magazine out of the UK, and we are super honored to work with them and be featured as cover model, cover photographer, and cover makeup artist Rae_O_Sunshine.

This photoshoot was particularly exciting for me because Malia is comfortable in her own skin, has worked very hard for the body she has and was willing to be open and free to show it off. She was able to be more natural, the way that a mermaid would be getting their legs in a tide pool for the first time!

This hair flip photo was a specially requested image that Malia loved so much that she ended up ordering a metal wall print of for her home!
